Teen Driver

Teen Driver is a General Motors active safety technology that encourages safe driving habits for new drivers, such as teenagers, while providing their parents with greater peace of mind.

Parents can activate Teen Driver through the Settings menu on their vehicle's infotainment system. When the system is on, all of their vehicle's active safety features are on and cannot be turned off. It also allows the parent to set a maximum speed alert and limit the maximum volume for audio system.

Memory Seats

Memory seats, if equipped, allow two drivers to save their preferred seat positions using the MEMORY buttons and recall them manually or automatically, if enabled through the vehicle personalization Settings menu on their infotainment system. From the factory, one key fob is linked to MEMORY button 2. This enables two drivers to save separate memory seat 1 and 2 positions. They can recall memory seat positions manually using the MEMORY 1 and 2 buttons in the vehicles and on the infotainment system, if equipped. They may also be able to save a Seat Exit position, if equipped. The Seat Exit Memory / Easy Exit position will automatically move the driver seat and other memory-equipped features to the stored EXIT buttons positions. This position will be the same regardless of who drives the vehicle and is not linked to a key fob.

Adaptive Remote Start

Start your vehicle from up to 100 yards with the remote start feature on your key fob. Upon activation of remote start, the engine will run for 10 minutes; repeat the steps for a 10 min extension. During a remote start, the automatic climate control system will operate at the same setting as when the vehicle was last turned off. If enabled in the Vehicle Settings menu, the heated / ventilated seats will automatically. When its cold outside, the heated seats turn on; and when it is hot outside, the ventilated seats turn on. The temperature performance of an unoccupied seat may be reduced. The heated / ventilated seats turn off the ignition is turned on. The seats can be turned on manually if desired.

Climate and Air Control

This available feature controls the fan speed, air delivery, air conditioning and recirculation in order to heat or cool the vehicle to the desired temperature. When Auto is lit, all four functions operate automatically. Each function can also be manually set and the selected setting is displayed.

Forward Collision Alert

Forward Collision Alert is a General Motors active safety technology that provides alert to help the driver avoid crashing into a vehicle they are following, whether that vehicle is moving or has come to a stop, or lets the driver know if they are following a vehicle ahead of them too closely, known as the Tailgating Alert.

Forward Collision Alert works when the vehicle is in Drive, or Forward gear. The performance of the system, such as vehicle detection range, inclement weather performance, and reaction to cut-in vehicles caries based on the type of system used.

Rear Cross Traffic Alert

Rear Cross Traffic Alert is General Motors active safety technology that provides alerts to help driver avoid crashing into approaching cross traffic when backing. A specific use case for Rear Cross Traffic Alert is when backing out of parking space or driveway and being obstructed from either side, thereby not being able to see approaching vehicles on the left or right of the vehicle.

The technology uses short-range hidden in each rear corner of the vehicle to monitor up to 65 feet (20 meters) to the left and to the right of the vehicles. The system only works when the vehicle is in the Reverse gear.

Rear Seat Reminder

Rear Seat Reminder is a General Motors convenience technology that reminds drivers to check the back seat as they exit their vehicle under certain circumstances. The technology is intended to help drivers remember things in the back seat.

The Rear Seat Reminder works by monitoring the vehicle's rear door. The features activates when either rear door is opened and closed within 10 minutes before the vehicle is started, or if they are opened and closed while the vehicle is running.

Valet Mode

This feature is rather straight forward: to prevent rogue valets from snooping through your car's truck and glove box. Enabling Valet Mode disables the truck release and, on some models (like most Cadillacs) locks the glove box.

Android Auto

Android Auto is a simple and smart way to use your Android smartphone if your vehicle. Android Auto enables Android smartphones users to display certain apps and functionality from their phones on the vehicle's infotainment display, allowing them to control those apps and functions via the vehicle's infotainment system touchscreen or voice commands.

Apple CarPlay

Apple CarPlay is a simple and smart way to use your iPhone in your vehicle. CarPlay enables iPhone users to display certain apps and functionally from their phone on the vehicle's infotainment display allowing them to control those apps and functions via the vehicle's infotainment system touchscreen or voice commands.

Android Bluetooth

Bluetooth technology lets you connect your compatible smartphone to your vehicle's infotainment system. Once your device is paired with the system, you can perform tasks like making hands-free phones calls and streaming audio from your device.

Android NFC

Near Field Communication, a form of short-range, contactless communication between devices, simplifies the process of Bluetooth pairing. If equipped, it allows you to quickly pair your compatible smartphone by simply holding it up to the vehicle's instrument panel.

Lane Change Alert

During a lane-change maneuver, this available advanced technology is designed to provide side mirror alerts to help you avoid a collision with a moving vehicle detected in your side blind zone or one that is rapidly approaching it.

Automatic Parking Assist

The Automatic Parking Assist with Braking system uses ultrasonic sensors along the vehicle's front, rear and side to detect a parking spot, track the vehicle's position and help the driver park. The system will automatically move your vehicle into the spot. It does this using automatic steering and braking, while your customers uses Forward and Reverse gears and removes their hands from the wheel and instructed.

Depending on the vehicle, the Automatic Parking Assist with Braking will be a soft-touch button or hard switch in the infotainment centre stack area.
